Jack PRICE
- Began painting in 1966 inspired by works of American realist Edward Hopper, & studied watercolor with Jeryl Vance, Danny Gamble and Pam Glick, in Amarillo and Canyon Texas
- Inspiration continued with works by regionalists Theodore Waddell and Russell Chatham, later studied with Troy Dalton figurative expressionist and Eastern Montana College faculty member
- Participated & sold paintings at college shows & fairs, and at local competitions such as The Stribling Art Extravaganza; won several first & second place honors as well as “best of show” in 2011 with competitions sponsored by the San Angelo Art Club
